LeFever is a guitar based duo of songwriters Dawn Lepere and Jeff Starns. They perform as a duo, or with their very talented friends as a trio or full band. Please visit the show page for upcoming performances.

Filled with Dawn’s rich vocals and rhythm guitar, and Jeff’s intricate lead and fingerstyle guitar work, their songwriting styles range from alt-blues to indie rock.

LeFever are two time Blues Foundation blues challenge winners, and one-time International Blues Challenge Semi-Finalists! In 2008, they won the solo/duo category for the Columbus Blues Alliance’s challenge, and in September, 2023 they became the solo/duo winners for the Capital Region Blues Network’s challenge. Both wins sent LeFever on to compete at the prestigious International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. In January, 2024, they proudly became 1 of only 3 acts ever sent by the Capital Regional Blues Network to achieve semi-finals!
